Description
Sophisticated Electrical device characterization to identify electrical fail mechanism. Operate fault isolation equipment to narrow failure defect location. Perform physical failure analysis to identify physical defects. Establish and hypothesize possible electrical or process fail mechanism based on electrical fail model and physical failure analysis characterization, to support process improvement. Work closely with various stakeholders from frontend to backend and Global Quality (GQ) department to resolve defectivity issues. Prepare and present electrical and physical failure mechanism on a weekly basis. Develop new fault isolation/physical failure analysis technique. Be responsible for a team of CE PYE technicians. Coordinate fault isolation tools/physical failure analysis tools to ensure high uptime. A Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. A phenomenal teammate with analytical, problem-solving skills and a strong drive to excel. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present in large meeting. Highly motivated individuals. Knowledge of fault isolation equipment/technique/physical failure analysis is an added advantage. Strong understanding in non-volatile NAND devices and knowledge of Fab process is an added advantage Able to support shift rotation
Responsibilities
The role involves sophisticated electrical device characterization to identify failure mechanisms and performing physical failure analysis to pinpoint defects. The engineer will also coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve defectivity issues and develop new fault isolation techniques.
