As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Staff/Senior Tax & Accounting Associate to join our boutique team. What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-level tax expertise — prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, with a focus on accuracy, strategy, and optimization
  • Advise clients on proactive tax planning, entity structuring, and financial strategies
  • Manage and review client accounting services, including general ledger, financial reporting, and close processes
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client efficiency, financial clarity, and business decision-making
  • Provide technical leadership on tax and accounting issues, supporting both clients and internal team members
  • Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and client deliverables — we welcome innovation and insight
  • Manage project workflow and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, quality-focused environment
  • Ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations, GAAP, and internal control best practices
  • Partner with firm leadership to continually evolve our advisory service model and client experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting environment
  • Strong technical expertise in tax preparation, tax review, and tax planning for individuals and businesses
  • Experience in full-cycle accounting, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end processes
  • Proficiency with UltraTax CS preferred; ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; technology-forward mindset
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to professional excellence
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines with poise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
  • CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred
