STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is REQUIRED and will be considered in the application screening process. Applications received without an SOQ will not be considered. Resumes, letters and other materials will not be considered as a SOQ.

A SOQ is a narrative description of how your training, experience, and education qualifies you for the position. Responses to the SOQ must be typed, using a 12-point Arial font. SOQ may not exceed 2 pages (front & back) total, single-spaced and responses must be numbered to match the items below. Applicants who do not submit a complete SOQ will not be considered.

• Identify each page with the title of SOQ, your full name, Job Control Number, and page number.
• Ensure your responses are complete, specific, clear, and concise.
• SOQs must include specific examples and time frames/dates.
• SOQs will be evaluated based on the content and writing ability, using standardized rating criteria.
