The Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Bay Delta Region (BDR) is seeking a motivated and highly responsible individual to work as a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) in our Stockton or Fairfield office. Under the supervision of the Administrative Officer II, the SSA performs a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties, assuring compatibility with statewide policies that require a high degree of independent action, analysis, initiative, knowledge of State and departmental policies and procedures, and thorough knowledge of appropriate administrative practices as applied to the procurement of a wide range of commodities. The SSA works independently, but as part of a team of analysts that support the region programs in fullfillment of the Department mission. The position may be eligible for a telework option per the requirements set by CDFW and the State of California.
In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam.

This position may be filled in the following counties: Solano County or San Joaquin County.

Working Conditions
Ability to use a computer keyboard several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Work with staff statewide to complete work assignments. Occasional travel may be required.
This position may be headquartered at one of the CDFW, Bay Delta Region offices at the following locations: Fairfield or Stockton, California, to be determined for the successful candidate at the time of the job offer. This position offers the possibility of a telework agreement, after the Probationary Period has passed, based on the Department’s current Telework Policy.
