Your Role in Enhancing the Team Experience
As a Staff Services Resource Assistant with BSL, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting our seasonal staff. This position combines administrative precision with physical tasks and customer-facing interactions to ensure smooth operations and positive experiences for our team members.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the uniform fleet—from laundering and tagging to stocktaking, distribution, and rentals. You’ll also support the preparation and maintenance of staff accommodation, ensuring a warm welcome and a well-organised environment.
You’ve always wanted to do a ‘season’ on the ski slopes, in this Seasonal Casual position, you will work from the12th May until after the end of the 2025 Winter season and we’ve offboarded our team, typically until the start of October each year.
As part of the staff services team, you will work closely with our Human Resources team to ensure the best possible experience for our team, all day every day.
Your Impact

In this role role, you will:

  • Oversee uniform distribution, returns, laundering, and inventory, ensuring our team is well-equipped and presentable.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining staff living quarters, performing tasks like arranging fittings, fixtures, and cleanliness to ensure comfort for all occupants.
  • Smoothly handle the start and end of employment for our seasonal team members during peak times.
  • Address staff inquiries and assist them with uniforms, accommodation logistics, and other needs.
  • Use and maintain inventory management systems to report on precise stock levels for reordering and replenishment.

  • Thrive in hands-on, physically active tasks, like moving uniform inventory or preparing accommodations.
  • Excel in a team-focused, supportive environment.
  • Enjoy variety—from interacting with people to managing inventory systems.
  • Have experience in customer service, administration, or related fields, with a knack for staying organised.
  • Be familiar with inventory management systems, ideally with retail experience.
  • Have prior experience in commercial accommodation or retail (preferred but not essential)

Your Toolbox

  • Physical capability to handle tasks such as lifting and transporting stock.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
