We are looking for a highly experienced Staff Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in React, micro frontends, and design systems, as well as a strong command of backend technologies like Node.js, Java, and Go/Golang. In this role, you will be a key technical leader, responsible for driving the architecture, development, and maintenance of our most complex web applications. Your work will have a broad impact, influencing multiple teams and shaping the technical direction of the engineering department. If you are a principal-level engineer with a passion for solving large-scale technical challenges and a track record of building and scaling high-quality software, we want to hear from you!
You’ll be part of the B2B area of Lightspeed, working on a team of full stack engineers focused on modernizing the core part of the NuORDER platform. As a Staff Engineer, you might also invest some of your time in cross-team initiatives, mentoring and leading other engineers in complex technical solutions.
For this role, you should be located in Canada and able to work within EST/EDT hours. We offer a choice of fully remote, partially remote, or fully office-based work environments (in cities with local offices).
