Job Title: Staff Software Engineer Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore Business & Team: BB Tech Impact & contribution: Collaborate with Business Banking stakeholders to develop & store payments data on cloud and help the squads in building the targeted applications-based cloud based microservices. Bringing the best design and development solutions to some of the complex problems in the domestic payment crew and doing POC with latest tech stack and helping the squads to build the solutions with latest tech stack. Ingest, store and publish payments data* (incl. new data/maintenance/fixes/changes) Roles & Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. Write, review, and maintain high-quality code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical goals with business objectives. Solve complex technical problems and implement innovative solutions. Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s technical strategy. Advocate for best practices in software development and continuous improvement Essential Skills Minimal 12 years of working experience in building Java/J2EE application Expert in frameworks like Spring boot and Micro-service Architecture & best practices Extensive experience in Cloud AWS Services Understanding of Application Design Patterns Expert in REST API Hands on experience with Kafka and JMS Familiar with Jetty or Tomcat or any Web Server Familiar with CI/CD Tools (Jenkins/Github Action) and Docker & Kubernetes Database: Oracle, AWS RDS Expert in Typescript and Node Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or any similar stream If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
