We are about to launch a brand-new engineering hub in Germany. Several new engineering teams within the area of payments will be created from scratch in our Dreilinden office close to Berlin. We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer who will be part of the Seller Capital Team and who can help us build exciting products for our financial services at eBay. You will be working on new experiences for millions of customers, such as supporting our sellers in understanding finances better and enabling seamless business operations. You will lead the development of modern Java/Spring Boot web applications by developing system designs, helping to define the technical roadmap, steering the team on all technical aspects, and implementing code. You will report to a Manager of engineering, as well as work closely with the wider engineering team of the new engineering hub.
