WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Strategic Technical Leadership
Advise senior management on technology and forward-looking strategies, championing enterprise-wide engineering standards and best practices that foster consistency, maintainability, and long-term scalability.Proactively evaluate new technologies and drive strategic innovation initiatives that enhance system capabilities and team productivity.
Java & Engineering Excellence
Ensure that all development work adheres to best practices for software craftsmanship, including SOLID principles, TDD, and clean architecture.Drive consistency and code reuse through the use of shared libraries, utilities, and component-based development.
Modern Technology Stack
Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment using tools like GitHub ActionsEnsure the security, reliability, and observability of applications through logging, monitoring, and incident response planning.
Team Development & Collaboration
Mentor and coach engineers at all levels, providing ongoing technical feedback, growth opportunities, and career development support.Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver business value efficiently.
Influence & Culture
Propose new technologies that will innovate the way the business works and define architectural approaches, pragmatic solutions, and best practices for the organization.Actively participate in organizational planning, talent development, and cross-team knowledge sharing to uplift the broader engineering organization.
