We're looking for a seasoned pro with strong technical skills, experience in healthcare infrastructure and early-stage startups, and a passion for mentorship and leading technical initiatives. We are looking for team members who actively leverage AI-powered development tools, embrace automation, and help teams adopt modern, AI-assisted engineering practices to increase velocity and quality. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT YOU * You have a track record of success: 10+ years of relevant industry experience (healthtech/healthcare is a plus!) shipping applications to production environments. * Technical Expertise: Mastery in software development, system design, and coding with proficiency in Agile methodologies. * Specific Skills: Experience in cloud computing, DevOps, database management, scalable AI/ML models * Specializations: Proficiency in performance optimization, complex system architecture, and data processing. * Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with PMs and Designers to drive innovation forward quickly and with quality.Emphasis on iterative development, feedback loops, and data-driven decision-making. * Building and Shipping: You excel at organizing input from stakeholders to define business objectives, translating these into actionable system requirements, and developing and executing technology roadmaps that drive results end to end.. * You strive for Operational Excellence: Best practice experience with coding standards, refactoring, complexity reduction, Domain Driven Design, and schema design. * You bring hands-on experience: Tech leadership experience as well as experience with object oriented design and modularization of monolithic applications and have experience maintaining and upgrading Ruby and Rails-based production stacks.
