Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Integrations and Developer Experience Team!
We are looking for a senior software engineer to join the Integrations and Developer Experience team. The team’s mission is to enable clients and partners to integrate with Addepar. Our cross-functional team designs, develops and operates automated workflows between Addepar and 3rd party systems. We aim to serve a variety of needs from slick no-code UI options, to more complex workflows built on top of our APIs. Take a look at our Integration Center to see some of the existing integrations!
We’re looking for someone who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that creates high-quality engineering processes and product delivery. You’ll work closely with product and design to deliver great products.
Our team works primarily with Java, making use of the Temporal durable execution engine to orchestrate our integration workflows. We also work on projects that require the use of Apex (proprietary Salesforce language), Javascript (Ember and LWC frameworks) and Python.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collaborate closely with partners from the product and design teams to build great products for our clients.
  • Drive technical direction of projects; taking business objectives and working with the team to define scalable solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for junior developers on the team.
  • Promote engineering best practices and principles to ensure that we build extensible solutions with high quality, maintainable code.
