As a Staff Software Engineer in our Post-Sales Enablement Engineering team based in Berlin you will be a trusted engineering leader on your immediate team with influence on adjacent Engineering and Operations teams. You will partner with the Engineering manager to drive the culture and technical excellence of your team.
You will be responsible for understanding the core business problems and needs of our stakeholders, and design technical solutions to those. You will make architectural decisions and build software to provide tooling and automate workflows. You will oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of services that enable internal teams to efficiently support clients in running and operating advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities


    • Work directly with internal customers, other business stakeholders and other Engineering and Corporate Technology teams to understand complex technical and business problems that are both sizable and ambiguous and design solutions to these.

    • Support the Engineering organization and direct manager in driving a culture of technical and operational excellence in the team.
    • Define solution strategies, including architectural decisions, and manage the day to day tactical execution of that strategy.
    • Design systems that are elegant and simple, reducing technical debt while providing a strong foundation for future development.
    • Define, code, test, deploy and operate services focused on process simplification and automationEnsure operational excellence of services in production.
    • Actively communicate thoughts, designs and progress on various initiatives across functions through both verbal and written means to technical audiences, articulating any assumptions and/or proposed tradeoffs.
    • Actively mentor more junior engineersParticipate in a team-wide on-call rotation.
