Your Day to Day
As a Staff Software Test Engineer (SDET), your main responsibilities would revolve around test planning, test automation, test execution, analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement at GoTo.

Increase the bandwidth of team’s delivery speed by modernizing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test suits across various cross-functional teams.

• Deeply understand our existing system and features.
• You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications throughout the development lifecycle
• Challenge continuously the “why” and how it serves customers.
• As a staff SDET engineer in one of the ITSG teams you will actively participate in creating and implementing the testing strategy across teams

What We’re Looking For
As a Staff Software Test Engineer (SDET), your background will look like
-

5-8 years of relevant, professional software testing experience and mentoring experience

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and has experience with Shadow DOM
• Has in-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices (regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing)
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and libraries such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Strong Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
