The TradePMR team’s mission is to deliver powerful, enterprise-grade software applications that support financial advisors in serving their clients efficiently and confidently. As a Staff Software Developer, you will lead critical backend and full stack engineering efforts, directly contributing to the evolution of our enterprise B2B platforms. You’ll collaborate closely across teams and act as a trusted technical mentor, designer, and builder! This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days per week. What you’ll do ● Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise B2B applications for financial advisors ● Own the architecture and implementation of scalable backend systems, with a focus on case management and operational tools ● Mentor junior engineers and guide technical execution across multiple projects ● Partner with product and operations teams to improve workflows and service capabilities ● Apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate case triaging, improve resolution accuracy, and reduce manual effort What you bring ● 10+ years of professional software engineering experience ● 3+ years of experience leading large engineering organizations or multiple teams ● Proven expertise in Microsoft technologies for web and desktop enterprise software ● Strong experience with relational database design and development ● Experience designing microservices and service-oriented architectures ● Strategic thinker with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills ● Ability to quickly grasp complex, regulated business domains and operate in high-accountability environments Leadership expectations Our ambitious roadmap requires a great culture shaped by exceptional leaders. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
