About the role The permanent full-time role of Staff Specialist Palliative Care works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that the Braeside Hospital Palliative Care service functions in a way that aligns with the Mission, Vision and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare and ensures that the medical and other care provided to patients is of high quality. HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised. Duties include Provide demonstrably high-quality specialist Palliative Care services to patients in the South-West Sydney Local Government Area To maintain personal professional competence in Palliative Care To work within healthcare teams and with other senior medical staff in a cooperative and collegiate way, evidencing the Mission, Motivation and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare Undertake teaching of medical students and trainee doctors and undertake research in Palliative Care as opportunities present. About you Registered (or registerable) as a Specialist Medical Practitioner in Palliative Care Medicine in Australia (AHPRA) FRACP or FAChPM or equivalent Consultant qualification.
