PsiQuantum has determined the fastest path to delivering a useful quantum computer, years earlier than the rest of the industry. Our architecture is based on silicon photonics which gives us the ability to produce our components at Tier-1 semiconductor fabs such as GlobalFoundries where we leverage high-volume semiconductor manufacturing processes, the same processes that are already producing billions of chips for telecom and consumer electronics applications. We also benefit from the quantum mechanics reality that photons don’t feel heat or electromagnetic interference, allowing us to take advantage of existing cryogenic cooling systems and industry standard fiber connectivity. In 2024, PsiQuantum announced two government-funded projects to support the build-out of our first Quantum Data Centers and utility-scale quantum computers in Brisbane, Australia and Chicago, Illinois. Job Summary: The Staff Supply Chain Materials Planner and Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring efficient planning, procurement, and management of materials to support production and NPI project requirements. This role combines strategic supply chain planning with advanced data analysis to optimize inventory levels, supplier performance, and material availability. The planner develops and maintains material forecasts, coordinates cross-functional supply activities, and leverages data-driven insights to improve accuracy, cost efficiency, and responsiveness within the supply chain. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain material requirements plans to support NPI and production build plans. Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, or excesses through proactive planning. Partner with engineering and procurement to ensure materials readiness to support new product introductions and engineering changes. Establish accurate item master data management, lead times, and other MRP parameters. Monitor material readiness with outsourced contract manufacturing partners. Build and establish dashboards, reporting and metrics for material availability and supplier performance. Support ERP system enhancements and standardize reporting processes for supply chain operations. Experience/Qualifications: 8+ Years in supply chain management, materials planning, procurement or data analytics roles in high tech and/or startup companies. Strong ERP systems background, preferably with Netsuite or similar. Proven experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, etc). Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field. Deep understanding of supply chain principles, forecasting, and inventory management in both an in-house and outsourced manufacturing environment. Proven experience establishing new processes in both early stage and established organizations. Strong experience with NPI materials planning. Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus). Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. The ranges below reflect the target ranges for a new hire base salary. One is for the Bay Area (within 50 miles of HQ, Palo Alto), the second one (if applicable) is for elsewhere in the US (beyond 50 miles of HQ, Palo Alto). If there is only one range, it is for the specific location of where the position will be located. Actual compensation may vary outside of these ranges and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications including relevant education and training, competencies, experience, geographic location, and business needs. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package. Full time roles are eligible for equity and benefits. Base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future. U.S. Base Pay Range $153,000—$170,000 USD Bay Area Pay Range $185,000—$200,000 USD
