This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and SDKs for medical devices that have a direct impact on users’ health. Accountabilities: As a Staff SW Development Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain iOS apps and SDKs, ensuring high reliability, performance, and compliance with platform guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Develop automated unit and integration tests to maintain software quality. Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently. Participate in design, code, and test reviews to ensure code quality and consistency. Prepare documentation for SDK releases, including release notes, sample apps, and user guides. Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration. Candidates should bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of experience in iOS app development, with strong proficiency in Swift. 3+ years of experience in WatchOS development. At least 1 year of technical leadership experience. Deep understanding of iOS internals, BLE peripherals, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Experience with RESTful APIs, integration of third-party libraries, and feature toggling tools (e.g., Launch Darkly). Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with continuous integration workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry is a plus.
