Systems Engineer, Automotive Networks The Automotive Networking (ANW) team at Analog Devices (ADI) partner with customers worldwide to deliver best in class connectivity solutions for the automotive market. The ANW team is seeking to add an additional Systems Engineer who will leverage their systems, software and hardware expertise to empower the development of industry leading automotive connectivity products and solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with automotive OEM’s, tier-1’s and internal teams, from concept to production, to help define, develop and support ADI’s next generation of products. #LI-NA1 The Role : The ANW BU has identified the need for a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to support the definition and development of next generation Automotive Ethernet products. The Systems Engineer is a key member of the team working on breakthrough products within the ANW group. The Systems Engineer will collaborate closely with customers and internal development teams early in the product lifecycle to define novel and differentiated products and solutions. Roles and responsibilities include: Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (Marketing, Design, Test & Evaluation, Field Applications/Market Segment) to define highly differentiated connectivity products that simplify and improve customers next generation systems. Engaging with the customer base and field teams, to clearly understand the key challenges to be solved, analyse and be responsible for the definition of next generation products and solutions Translate the customer problem statements into product solutions. Think expansively and use a wide lens when solving problems. Develop proof-of-concept demos and system prototypes to validate next generation product concepts Build and share technical expertise across ADI’s system teams. Help optimise customers Automotive E/E architectures by bringing revolutionary products and solutions to the market. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software/Systems Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification with 8+ years’ experience. Excellent analytical skills, excellent communication skills essential The candidate is expected to employ solutions thinking and have demonstrated proficiency in electronic PCB circuit design and software development. Bring experience in system engineering or new product definition to derive system and product requirements Display strong understanding of IC development including embedded systems As the job requires constant communication with customers, it will, therefore, necessitate travel within Europe as well as the US, and Asia. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
