Hiring Immediately- Bid /Procurement Specialist for Staffing Agency.
Rate of Pay: $18/hr (based on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm. (Schedule tentative to change /possible weekends)

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in Business or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with human resources
  • Bid writing,RFP, Proppoasl (government bid proposals considered a strong asset)
  • Previous staffing experience considered an asset
  • Excellent computer proficiency with quiet working environment with fast connection internet, own computer and home equipment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines
  • Team player with exceptional organizational ,communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated candidate
  • Mandatory background clearance as well as business references (previous employers only)
  • Reliable transportation with willing to travel (bid events,potential client visits etc)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting (Reviewing resumes, phone screening potential applicants, conducting interviews)
  • Responsible for administrative functions
  • Filling clients orders (on-site recruiting, daily interviews etc.)
  • Maintaining strong employee and client relations
  • Staying current and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Completing and submitting accurate reports, applications in a timely manner
  • Onboarding, maintaining & updating applicant information
  • Responsible for the content of a bid, making sure it is written in a way that clearly communicates the company’s strengths and meets the client’s requirements.
  • Create persuasive, well-structured responses to for example requests for proposals (RFPs), invitations to tender (ITTs), and other tenders.
  • Work closely with bid managers and other stakeholders to ensure the content is accurate, engaging, and compliant with the tendering organisation’s specifications.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:(Sourcing and screening candidates/Conducting interviews/Extending offers and onboarding/Conducting orientation and training)
  • Other duties as needed (Health & Safety/ Compliance etc)
