Summary The Staffing Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing staffing resources across the network. This position involves resource management, data analytics, communication, and operational oversight to ensure efficient and effective staffing solutions that support high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Monitors and manages the deployment of staffing resources across enterprise level of JHS, ensuring adequate coverage based on patient care needs, acuity levels, and unit-specific requirements. Collaborates with unit managers and department heads to anticipate staffing needs and address any gaps in coverage. Serves as the point of contact for unit leaders and staff regarding staffing-related issues, schedule changes, and resource availability. Facilitates clear and timely communication between the centralized staffing center and individual hospital units to ensure seamless coordination and information flow. Utilizes staffing and patient care data to analyze trends, forecast staffing needs, and identify areas for improvement. Develops and maintains reports on staffing metrics, including coverage rates, overtime usage, and staffing efficiency. Generates data-driven insights to support strategic staffing decisions and optimize resource allocation. Oversees the daily operations of the Jackson Workforce Logistics Center, including scheduling, real-time adjustments, and resolution of staffing issues. Performs all other related job duties as assigned. Experience Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience in staffing, workforce management, or data analysis desired, preferably within a healthcare setting. Education High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration preferred. Credentials Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
