MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare staffing coordination preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting (long-term care or medical facility preferred).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A dedicated, compassionate mindset that prioritizes quality resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Nursing Staff Schedules - Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nurses and CNAs.
  • Ensure Adequate Coverage - Work closely with the Director of Nursing to secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and leave requests.
  • Daily Staffing Reports - Complete daily staffing sheets and track nursing hours to meet PPD (Per Patient Day) requirements while maintaining compliance logs.
  • Monitor and Verify Employee Attendance - Review and correct time clock punches, verify hours worked, and identify staffing trends.
  • Collaborate with Admissions Team - Stay updated on census changes, new admissions, and discharges to adjust staffing accordingly.
  • Data & Compliance Reporting - Prepare and submit daily nursing hours reports to the Executive Director/LNHA.
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency - Implement new staffing strategies and processes to improve patient care and employee satisfaction.
