  • Our head office is located in Scarborough and work is on location.

Job Status: Full Time

Hours of Work

  • Rotating schedule of Days and Evenings. Alternate weekends and statutory holidays. Our office hours are from 5am to midnight , 7 days per week.

Report To

  • Office Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling employees by matching the staffing requirements of NHI’s clients.
  • Contact healthcare employees to determine their availability.
  • Log the requests and process from our healthcare clientele
  • Match available employees to the community/facility client requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service – first contact by phone, or electronically
  • Manages requests in a timely manner, based on priority, Offering services to Clients
  • Update Scheduling Software.
  • Record and document all requests, schedules and communications into scheduling software program and on manual systems as required.
  • Print daily reports as defined, forward and file as required.
  • Promote NHI’s staffing services to facilities and health care providers.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Qualification

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience using scheduling software programs.
  • Familiarity with health care settings and the staffing industry.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Personal Support Worker or Nursing Background preferred.
  • Proven attention to detail within a fast-paced environment (accurate and keyboarding skills essential).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a personable, outgoing, professional manner.
  • Demonstrated, multi-tasking, taking initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion.
  • Valid Drivers License and access to car
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Highly organized and efficient time management skills.
  • Must be able to pass job related test.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • NHI will train qualified individual
