STAFFING SCHEDULER EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience with Hosted Time & Dropstat Scheduling system preferred
• Experience scheduling for a large skilled nursing community, 200 beds or higher. (Scheduling for CNA, LPN, RN, over 7-3, 3-11, 11-7, 7a-7p, 7p-7a.)
• Experience working in a quick-paced environment

• Ensure that the skilled nursing facility is adequately staffed with CNA’s, LPN, RN’s, to fulfill resident needs on “5” different shifts.
• Consult with the Director of Nursing concerning staffing needs to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas, and/or improvement of services.
• Performs daily and monthly staffing in accordance with management instructions.
• Create and present Nursing/staffing reports to the Executive Director and Corporate on a timely basis.
• Maintain Nursing attendance records accurately and timely and reports concerns to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in developing, implementing and coordinating staffing procedures.
• Keep the Nurse Staffing needs met as directed to state standards.
• Understanding of Nursing needs to aid in staffing all shifts & units in Nursing department.
• Audits nursing personnel’s time accurately and timely.
• Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image.
• Post daily staffing requirements in Dropstat Scheduling System.
• Attend and participate in in-service training programs to meet state, federal, and company requirements.
• Calculate PPD and other required labor reports as needed.
