Description Village at Belmar, Lakewood’s premier senior living community, is searching for a Staffing Manager to join our team. The staffing manager directly impacts the largest team in our community, the clinical team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the clinical staff schedule, as well as managing community orientation and training compliance. Additionally, you will assist with interviewing and hiring new clinical team members. Benefits: 4 weeks of paid time off a year Medical insurance including vision and dental 100% employer paid life and long-term disability insurance Accident and short-term disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Sunny Day emergency savings account with employer match Duties and Responsibilities: Screens, interviews, hires clinical associates (RA/QMAPs) Ensures clinical scheduling of RA/QMAPs (takes call for call offs and finding coverage in real time) Completes position specific checklists and community orientation Tracks to ensure completion of Relias and TouchPoints training and may assist with annual competency fair and tracking Provides direct supervision of resident care staff, which includes monitoring job performance, assisting with associate performance evaluations, coaching and counseling, and conducting and documenting corrective action for attendance performance issues Ensure that the laundry schedule and shower schedule were completed daily Conduct daily hospitality rounds to ensure residents rooms meet community standards Verifies all associate hours on timekeeping reports. Responds promptly to call lights from residents. Assists in monitoring department staffing budget. Shares manager on-call duties as required. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience creating and maintaining a schedule for a large team, preferably in a health care setting Experience with scheduling software, and Microsoft office Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed Pay: $58,000 to $60,000 annual salary, based on experience
