Description We are seeking a dynamic, process-focused, and organized Staffing Manager to join our retirement community team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and be adept at managing staff scheduling in a 24/7 environment. This role will encompass a range of responsibilities, from hiring to onboarding, ensuring our community is adequately staffed at all times to offer the best care to our residents. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Shift Management: 80% of the job responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain a master schedule for care staff across all shifts in our 24/7 retirement community. Continuously monitor and adjust the schedule to accommodate vacations, sick days, and other unexpected staff absences. Ensure that all shifts are adequately covered and make last-minute staffing changes as needed. Serve as the primary on-call contact for staffing issues outside regular business hours. Hiring: Post job listings, review applications, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions in conjunction with department heads. Onboarding & Orientation: Plan, organize, and execute orientation sessions for all new staff members. Ensure new hires understand their roles, responsibilities, and the standards of care expected within the community. Collaborate with department heads to ensure proper training and integration of new staff into their respective teams. Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and improve staffing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on best practices in staffing and scheduling in the retirement community industry. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of staff schedules, hours worked, and any other pertinent data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Pay: Starting at $65,000 to $75,000 with bonus potential per quarter based on KPI performance. Qualifications: Prior experience in staff scheduling, preferably within a 24/7 environment or healthcare facility. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in scheduling software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
