POSITION SUMMARY: Our Stagehands lead the industry in the setup and strike of our core business, Pipe and Drape. Also, you will be required to work with and understand other related events equipment. BENEFITS: 401k Safe Harbor with Employer 5% match Employee Referral Bonus Program Potential to go Full Time Potential for overtime Eligible for annual increases based on performance Opportunities for professional growth DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Required to wear black pants or shorts and DK supplied shirt Required to possess and carry while working a leather type multi tool or similar Proper and Safe installation of DK property including, Drape, carpet, rope / stanchions, AVD, and any additional items Care and proper maintenance of all DK gear and property Staff operation of Company vehicles applies to all DK vehicles leased or owned The safe operation of all DK vehicles including the use of Company owned GPS systems All vehicles are to be maintained in a clean fashion and returned to shop fueled All loads must be properly secured during transport The safe loading and unloading of all DK vehicles leased or owned The possession of a valid DOT Medical Certificate or ability to get one are a plus Vehicle inspections prior to and post use of company vehicle Submission of all parking tickets to management Notification of management of all vehicle related citations Safe use of ladders, lifts, and any other applicable equipment Consistent and timely client commination including arrival times on job site Securing client signatures as it relates to the Royal Rules and client receipts Concise and relevant communication with office and operations personnel Occasional Warehouse work, including loading and unload vehicles, pull / pack of jobs, laundry, folding and scanning of returning jobs. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Event Experience is a must Must be able to lift up to 62 lbs. Theatrical, AV, Event Decor, Lighting and/or Sound backgrounds preferred Valid Driver’s License required Experience driving box trucks a plus Requires extremely flexible hours (“Event Hours” are necessary and applicable) Extreme attention to detail. Patience, flexibility and the ability to work well within stressful situations

Responsibilities

Stagehands are responsible for the industry-leading setup and strike of core business items, primarily Pipe and Drape, while also working with and understanding other related event equipment. Duties also include the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles, securing client signatures, and performing occasional warehouse tasks like pulling and packing jobs.
