Blaisdell Hall at Pitt-Bradford is seeking a reliable and experienced Stagehand to assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of campus arts and music events. This is a part-time, on-call position scheduled per event, with minimal monthly hours ranging from 3 to 10, depending on the event calendar. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in setting up and striking stages, lighting, sound, and other technical equipment Operate or assist with basic audio, lighting, and visual equipment during performances Load and unload gear and assist visiting artists and performers as needed Maintain organization and cleanliness of backstage and storage areas Follow safety guidelines and instructions from technical directors and event managers Requirements: Previous experience working in performing arts or music events Familiarity with standard industry equipment (e.g., lighting instruments, audio gear, cabling) Ability to lift and move equipment and work flexible hours based on the event schedule Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to stay involved in the performing arts scene on a flexible, part-time basis.
