Description The primary responsibility of a Stain Shop Specialist is to feed products through production machinery and ensure the product is kept in a clean and organized manner. Responsibilities Feeds product through production machinery to apply stain Inspect boards for imperfections, blemishes, and damages Complete all work orders accurately and promptly Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned Requirements Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, box cutters, etc. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must have the ability to make the sound judgment needed while driving a forklift. The employee must regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and move things up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
