QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience with stainless MIG and TIG welding
• Proficiency in welding techniques for stainless steel
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Knowledge of shop safety procedures and practices
• Welding certifications (CWB or equivalent) are an asset but not required

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Stainless MIG & TIG Welder to join our fabrication shop team. The successful candidate will primarily be welding stainless steel components and assemblies, contributing to high-quality custom fabrication projects. This is a hands-on role in a supportive shop environment with steady, full-time hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately prior to welding
• Inspect welds for quality assurance and compliance with standards
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
