EIT RawMaterials is at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability in the raw materials sector. As an Innovation Community within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), we collaborate with over 300 partners across industry, academia, and research institutes. Together, we forge dynamic, long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europe’s growing demand for raw materials.
We are seeking an experienced Stakeholder and Outreach Manager to join our team and support initiatives under Cross KIC Education Cluster such as EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative which is a pioneering programme led by the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT) that will skill one million people within deep tech fields over the next three years. Deep tech innovations – cutting-edge technological solutions combining fields of science and engineering in the physical, biological and digital spheres – are indispensable in addressing the most pressing global challenges.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong business development skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and extended knowledge of project management tools, such as Teams, Trello, or Slack.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills: Ability to present in English clearly and engagingly, online and onsite. Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and/or Canvas.
  • Ability to convey a message: Strong English drafting skills.
  • Perseverance: Ability and willingness to follow up and to deliver.
  • Team spirit: Ability and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Education, Innovation, International Relations, Technology, etc.
  • A well-developed network of contacts in the EU education and /or technology landscape
  • Knowledge of and experiences with stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Well acquainted with establishing relationships with stakeholders in the EU.
  • Experience with business development and understanding of business development cycles, from lead generation to conversion. Understanding of CRM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of latest technological trends. Knowledge of education and training trends and insight about the working of EIT and its communities is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with companies, universities, and institutions to expand the Initiative’s network.
  • Attract, negotiate, and secure collaborations with key stakeholders in deep tech fields.
  • Work with predictive tools to ensure initiative requirements and KPIs are met
  • Lead execution of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy to boost the initiative visibility and participation
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with the initiative’s goals through tailored collaborations and campaigns
  • Present the initiative and its benefits to different audiences
