DESCRIPTION:

About the position
Are you passionate about building strong relationships and creating meaningful partnerships in the education and training sector? We’re looking for a dynamic Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to drive collaboration and enhance engagement across our Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Reporting to General Manager Community Education, the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator role will create, develop and nurture key stakeholder partnerships to drive student recruitment and student outcomes. This role has the primary objective to increase referrals to all community education programs.
The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator is responsible for establishing, maintaining, strengthening, and servicing stakeholders including but not limited to council representatives, employers, industry associations, employment services providers, Services Australia to support commUnity+ education and training programs by referring clients to all education programs including the Adult Migrant English Program, Employment Programs, English as an Additional Language, and Skills for Education and Employment. You’ll be the connector, championing communication, representing our values, and ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and empowered.
This position is an onsite role primarily based at the commUnity+ St Albans site, however the role may require attendance at other locations from time to time. This is a fixed term, part time position averaging 22.8 hours per week.
Key Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., business, communications, education) or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with the Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority (VRQA) frameworks and RTO compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of the vocational education and training sector, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts and challenges effectively.
Excellent planning and coordination abilities, with experience in organizing events and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detailed understanding of adult and community education, including community development principles.
Additionally, Certificate IV Training & Assessment highly regarded and use of personal motor vehicle as necessary to attend various worksites and stakeholder locations.
