Job Summary As a Experienced Set Up Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up stamping presses, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Set up and operate stamping presses (Minster, Bliss, V&O) and routers. Inspect and document product measurements to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards. Perform minor maintenance on equipment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Experienced Set Up Machine Operator Ability to set up and operate production equipment such as stamping presses. Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines, as necessary. Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols. Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2 yrs+ experience with setting up stamping, molding machines or similar equipment. Strong basic math skills. Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers). Ability to trouble-shoot equipment set up. Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs. Preferred: Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings. Work Environment Experienced Set Up Machine Operator This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
