This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace. Key Responsibilities: Operate a stand-up forklift to transport materials and products to designated locations. Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functionality. Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and adjustments. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs and safety concerns. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety awareness. Qualifications Qualifications: Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts (Must pass a forklift driving assesment). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor. Basic math skills for inventory management. Working Conditions: Required to work in freezer where temperatures ranges between -10 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards. Must wear appropriate safety gear as required.
