Description Truvant is actively seeking candidates to join our rapidly expanding site in Haslet, Texas. As a premier contract manufacturing and packaging service provider, we specialize in collaborating with top global brands in food & beverage and consumer packaged goods. Our Haslet facility operates around the clock, exclusively supporting the LEGO Group on a 24/7 schedule. We offer diverse opportunities across four crews, accommodating both day and night shifts. Our unique schedule features 12-hour shifts for three days, supplemented by an additional 6-hour shift on the fourth day. Schedules: Crew B Sun-Tues 6:00PM-6:15AM; Wed 6:00PM-12:15AM Crew D Wed 12:00AM-6:15AM; Thurs-Sat 6:00PM-6:15AM POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform all aspects of shipping, receiving and inventory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly and in a timely manner and make sure all steps are completed before releasing the truck Report any damages or defaults with the forklift immediately to your team lead. Move production supplies to and from the storage areas, using the task sheets, with a forklift, hand jack, or what means necessary to keep the production flowing. Maintain accurate inventory Conduct location audits randomly and cycle counts Organize materials in the production area along with the warehouse areas keeping them neat and clean Identify potential problems or issues that arise Other duties as assigned Requirements EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Previous experience on in warehousing preferred. Previous experience on forklift and power equipment preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures Ability to pay close attention to detail Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job Skill in multitasking and time management Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communication Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers Must be able to reach, touch, grasp Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and push Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products. Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 pounds TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 0% - Optional travel may be offered to support business needs
