Position Summary Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe operation of powered industrial trucks in a warehouse environment for the purpose of picking, auditing, processing, loading and shipping of product. Day Shift and Evening shift are available with overtime. Day Shift:7am-3:30pm/Evening Shift 3:30p-12am. Key Responsibilities · Follow safety guidelines for the operation of powered industrial trucks including daily pre-operation and post-operation checklist for equipment. · Must be able to successfully pass PGI powered industrial truck certification. · Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and securing loads. · May require physical adjustment of load, re-stacking of product up to 50lbs. · Use electronic devices such as handheld scanners, tablets, and computers to process product movement and complete customer orders and meet established daily productivity standards. · Report all accidents and near-miss incidents immediately to supervisors and safety team members · Assist in managing inventory by tracking materials moved and stored and reporting any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues in products received or shipped. · Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements. · Teamwork and collaboration: Work well with others to achieve goals; support team decisions. · Cross training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed. · All other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications · Must be able to drive a stand up reach truck. - Must be able to read and understand detailed work instruction in English to complete daily tasks. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Must be able to move, lift and transport products up to 50lbs in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. · Ability to stand, lift, bend and move heavy packages for extended periods of time up to 10-hour shifts. Education and Experience · High School Diploma/GED preferred · Minimum of two years of standup forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
