Description

Overview DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced Standards & Evaluation (STAN-EVAL) Operator to join our team! The successful candidate will work closely with DoD staff supporting the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) mission in support the Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration, and Operational Support (DCRIOS) II contract. This position is onsite at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). Duties & Responsibilities Execute operations support tasks for Cyber Protection Team (CPT) Standardization/Evaluation sections. Complete administration of Patriot Excalibur (PEX), or equivalent system of record, requirements to track mission qualification requirements. Members will not accomplish the mission qualification evaluations, but will coordinate records reviews, provide operator qualification statuses, schedule evaluations, coordinate range setup and assist the self-assessment program manager during routine inspections. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance. Have a Bachelor Degree or possess, or be willing to obtain, one of the following certifications: CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, or PenTest+. Two (2) or more years’ experience in cyber security required Experience with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or equivalent system of record, requirements General knowledge of cyber security frameworks, such as the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and the NIST 800 series General knowledge of physical computer components and architectures, including the functions of computer domains, directory services, various components and peripherals, basic programming concepts, assembly codes, TCP/IP, OSI models, underlying networking protocols (e.g., DNS, ARP, etc.), security hardware and software Candidate must be self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision DoD 8570 IAT Level III or DoD 8140 Work Role Code 511certification (current) Possess, or be willing to obtain within 6-months of start date, an additional operating system, or security tool related certification Preferred Skills/ Qualifications: Knowledge of cyber forensic collection, preservation, and chain of custody Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) toolsets, such as Elastic Endpoint Security, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Trellix EDR Experience with encryption, decryption, and hashing technologies such as DES, AES, RSA, PKI, SHA, and MD5 Knowledge of Red Team Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) Knowledge of distributed systems, process control, advanced routing, wireless, cloud, telecom and datacom platforms.
