POSITION OVERVIEW

Calian is seeking a Standards Support Designer at the Senior level for our client in Borden, ON. This is a casual position for a 4-month assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a minimum undergraduate degree in these areas: Education, Adult Learning, Distance Learning, or eLearning
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the conduct of training and education evaluation (both student and programme evaluation)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level

• Work collaboratively with the assigned Officer in Command
• Provide standards-related support for CFLTC Logistics Leadership
• Administer and grade student assignments and performance checks in line with the provided rubrics and course training plans
• Provide written and/or verbal feedback following the conclusion of each course’s performance checks, highlighting key shortcomings and offering corrective actions to improve performance
• Mark individual performance checks and provide feedback within 1 day of submission, in accordance with the course schedule
• Utilize DND computer and information technology systems (including MS Outlook, MS Teams, and conference calls) for synchronous activities, such as communication and collaboration
