You will play a vital role in the hotel's mission to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability while crafting premium beverages in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Beverage Craftsmanship: Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold Starbucks beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards exactly. * Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, respond to requests in a friendly and efficient manner, and resolve any dissatisfaction with professional hospitality. * Sales & Transactions: Take guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, process various payments (cash, credit, gift cards), and upsell additional items to enhance profitability. * Operational Standards: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and seating areas; perform opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and securing the house bank. * Inventory Management: Requisition, stock, and rotate products (milk, syrups, beans) to ensure freshness and availability. * Safety & Compliance: Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, including checking refrigerator temperatures and following company safety procedures. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Experience: Previous barista, hospitality, or customer service experience is strongly preferred. * Communication: Ability to read, speak, and write English clearly to interact with diverse guests and understand instructions. * Mathematical Skills: Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling, making change, and totaling charges. * Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. * Flexibility: Open availability to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. ```
