Position Summary: The Starbucks Counter Attendant is responsible for creating a great guest experience. Duties range from taking guest orders to recommending new beverages, food and retail, cash handling and keeping area cleaned, organized and stocked. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times. 2. Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition in a timely manner. 3. Prepare food and beverage items for guests. 4. Use suggestive selling techniques. 5. Maintain cleanliness and ensure that supplies in outlet areas are well stocked. 6. Operate the Point of Sale system, cash handling, and accurately record guest's orders. 7. Resolve guest complaints. 8. Complete side work and any additional daily tasks. 9. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission. 3. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Ability to handle a flexible schedule and work weekends, holidays and all shifts. 6. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. 2. Ability to stand for duration of the shift, bend and reach to a height of six feet with or without assistance. 3. Hand/eye coordination and the ability to use sensory faculties.
Responsibilities
The Counter Attendant is responsible for taking guest orders, preparing food and beverages, and handling cash transactions. They must maintain a clean, stocked work area and ensure a high-quality guest experience through positive service.
