What you’ll do
In your role as a Senior Product Designer at STARK, you will be at the forefront of creating and refining user experiences and designs across a variety of projects. Reporting directly to and collaborating closely with the Head of Product Design, you’ll have a significant impact on both the aesthetic and functional elements of our offerings. This position demands a strong emphasis on UI Design, complemented by a solid background in UX Design. To be considered for this role, an online portfolio demonstrating your skills and experience is essential.
Key responsibilities and skills

Design Expertise and Execution:

  • UI/UX Design: Lead with strong UI design skills, supported by robust UX capabilities.
  • Design support: Play a key role in enhancing our design practices, employing various UX research methods, leading engaging workshops and knowledge sharing.
  • Design Systems: Create and maintain design guides and pattern libraries, using information architecture to align business objectives with user needs.
  • Technological Savvy: Bring a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end processes and technologies.
  • Shaping User Experiences: Drive improvements focusing on user journey, preferences, and interaction, aiming for simplicity and intuitive use.

Independent Project Work and Collaboration:

  • Taking the Initiative: Demonstrate your ability to independently manage various projects, bringing them from start to finish with a keen eye for detail.
  • Thriving in an Agile Setting: Bring your best to an agile working environment, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English, with effective remote and asynchronous work capabilities.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working with teams and products across different languages and cultures.
  • Mentorship and Team Support: Mentor and support junior members of the team, with an ability to maintain high attention to detail and a self-starter mindset.

Tools:

  • Design and Prototyping: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Wireframing: Experience in creating detailed wireframes for complex interfaces.
  • Prototyping & Interaction Design: Skilled in developing interactive prototypes and understanding key principles of interaction design.

Qualifications

  • A portfolio that showcases your contributions to digital products, demonstrating originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior capacity.

Workplace is in Denmark, Aarhus. Expected travel is 12-15 days a year.
