Title: Starter/Marshall Reports to: Golf Services Manager/Head Golf Professional Location: 18 Cabot Lane, Inverness, NS, B0E 1N0 Job Type: Seasonal Full-time Built by dreamers, for dreamers. As a First Tee Host at Cabot, you will assist in the day-to-day on course operations of Cabot while ensuring that our guests enjoy their experience. Core Accountabilities: • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service • Be knowledgeable of Tee Sheet and ensure guests tee off at their scheduled tee time • Be knowledgeable of Pace of Play and any situations that may affect Pace of Play • Assist the on course Host with guests special on course inquiries/complaints • Assist guests with routing of the golf course (help groups get from hole to hole) • Assist guests with information on resort amenities, information about the community and surrounding areas, and directions • Always be in contact with the Pro Shop to ensure the guest needs are met • Assist with any Pro Shop inquiries/situations that regard the first tee • Ensure the first tee is set up and well stocked with all the materials and amenities to be distributed to guests. (Score cards, pencils, tees, ball markers, cookies, water) • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: • High school diploma • Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle multiple duties under pressure • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times • Ability to work flexible hours – weekends and evenings as required • Highly responsible & reliable Physical Demands: • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing • Ability to work in an outdoor environment (i.e.: sun, wind, rain)

Responsibilities

The Starter/Marshall will assist in the day-to-day operations of the golf course while ensuring guests have a positive experience. Responsibilities include managing tee times, assisting guests with inquiries, and maintaining the first tee area.
