Description The Starts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all starts occur within the determined cycle time, are accurate and that all necessary documents are properly completed in order to provide complete packages to the field, as well as maintain positive relationships with the various municipalities and vendors. This position in an in-person opportunity in either the Dallas or Austin division. Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Communicate effectively with jurisdictions and municipalities regarding requirements, fees, and status of permits, among other things, as required Communicate with HOA and submit applications accordingly to make sure we are following community guidelines Understand and facilitate backlog workflow so that files move efficiently and in a timely manner to meet start goals, all of which may change from time to time Process required documentation for requesting energy evaluation, monitor turn around following up on third parties as required to maintain reasonable cycle time Work with Trade Partners in obtaining information needed for permitting, as required Track and process permit fees/reinspection’s and process checks for permits Maintain the Starts Tracker Coordinate deliveries to the jurisdictions and communities, as required Ensure invoices for vendors are paid in a timely manner Support the field and purchasing department with various task Print plans and distribute accordingly Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university Minimum two years related experience Strong verbal and written communications Strong knowledge of municipal permitting and regulations Strong knowledge of building codes Basic computer skills Ability to learn quickly Be flexible and adjust to changing factors, conditions, or environments. Strong sense of urgency
