STATE MANAGER – NSW/ACT

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

BGIS is looking for a collaborative and experienced State Manager to support the delivery of facilities and asset management services across a portfolio of 11 hospitals throughout NSW and ACT. In this people-focused leadership role, you’ll work closely with General Managers, site teams, and internal stakeholders to promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the National Account Director, you’ll lead a supportive team environment while ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining trusted relationships across all sites.
This position is well suited to a values-driven professional who enjoys coaching others, building partnerships, and contributing to impactful work in a healthcare setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Foster a positive team culture that values respect, accountability, and continuous development
• Support day-to-day service delivery across multiple hospital sites in NSW and ACT
• Maintain compliance, risk registers, and operational continuity plans
• Lead team performance to achieve service targets and contractual outcomes
• Collaborate with both client stakeholders and internal departments
• Travel across the region to maintain a strong on-the-ground presence and understanding of each site
