Description

The primary objective of this role is to strategically drive growth and profitability by developing and executing strategic plans to increase market share and strengthen customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Financial focus:

  • Oversee and analyze region sales performance and margin (Open Market, Bunnings, Outdoor & End to End Solutions)
  • SG&A / T&E management

Customer focus:

  • Key Customer Growth Plan Execution
  • Channel Growth Plan Execution
  • Brand / SBU Diversity Focus – Margin Impact
  • Customer Relationship Development
  • Key strategic initiatives / new category growth opportunities (PTA, CPG, Demand Creation etc…)

Internal & team focus:

  • Drive leadership behavioral standards
  • Stakeholder relationship development / cross department collaboration
  • Ensure reporting teams are updated with campaigns / upcoming events
  • Coach and support Sales Managers and FSL’s
  • Disciplined sales execution – Drive standards through Focus Sheets via FSL’s to field team
  • Tech/Process development, adoption and compliance (SFDC, SBD Connect, SharePoint)
  • Training needs Analysis / Matrix
  • Identify high potentials and/or reps requiring support / coaching
  • High team presentation standards

Process:

  • Price rise execution
  • Forecast accuracy / S&OP
  • E&O management / execution

Sales Operations:

  • Appropriate resource allocation
  • Timely cascading of relevant information to the team
  • Regular meeting cadence with the team
