Core Element is partnering with an established national business servicing Foodservice and commercial customers to appoint its next NSW State Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you’ll lead the state operation across depot management, distribution, fleet, customer service and financial performance. An established sales team, commercial support and operating systems provide a solid platform to build from.
The opportunity is to strengthen local leadership, improve daily execution and ensure the operation keeps pace with a growing customer base.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲You’ll develop supervisors, build team capability and establish clear expectations around performance. Alongside this, you’ll oversee depot and route efficiency, manage costs and assets, maintain safety standards and work with the sales team to support customer retention and new business.
This calls for a visible leader who spends time in the operation, understands the detail and leads effectively through others.
𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱You may currently lead an operations, logistics, distribution, warehouse or manufacturing business. Your title matters less than your record of improving performance through people.
You’ll bring:• Experience leading frontline teams and developing supervisors• Evidence of improving service, productivity and accountability• Sound financial judgement and commercial awareness• A practical, measured approach to performance management• Credibility with customers, colleagues and operational teams
Foodservice experience would be useful. Proven operational and people leadership is essential.
