Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As State Manager you will be responsible for managing staff, fleet and operational requirements, as well as monitoring performance against objectives to ensure the strategic plan is achieved for Victoria and South Australia. To be successful in this position you will be a self-motivated, highly organised and can inspire teams to foster collaboration to deliver outstanding results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Experience and Sales: Lead and implement operational service standards to enhance customer satisfaction; monitor customer service levels and drive strategies for improvement; stay informed on competitor activities to maintain market competitiveness; coach managers to ensure teams have strong product knowledge and sales expertise; optimise fleet management and staff rostering to meet customer demand.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute the annual business plan, assess location performance against strategic goals, and identify opportunities for improvement; manage financial plans, ensure quality assurance, maintain credit requirements; develop and maintain relationships with Local Franchise network, Airport Authorities and Lease holders.
  • Team and People Management: Oversee employee performance and satisfaction, recruit and develop talent, and maintain a culture of service excellence; manage costs, resources, and agency networks; ensure compliance with company policies and reward team achievements.
  • Work Health and Safety: Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies, ensure compliance, and participate in investigations and safety committee activities; leading by example and promoting health, safety and the environment at every opportunity.
