State Operatiosn Manager - QLD Recycling
Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, recycling and remanufacturing. We believe materials are not truly recycled until they’re made into something new—and it all starts with Visy Recycling. As Australia’s largest recycler, our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

• Providing strategic leadership, direction and development to your team.
• Maintaining a safe environment for workers and ensuring compliance with environmental responsibilities associated with Visy Recycling’s QLD operations.
• Improving existing recycling processes and systems to ensure a safe and quality driven environment.
• Maximising profit and cash flow generated in the business with particular emphasis on the management of conversion costs and financial integrity.
• Managing the transport and logistics functions and maintain ongoing focus and understanding of the challenges associated with exports while ensuring international standards are continually being met.
• Ensuring the development of existing customer and supplier relationships
• Managing financial performance including setting and achieving budgets
