THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic State Sales Manager to lead the sales function for our Visy Board business in Western Australia. Based in Perth and reporting to the General Manager – Visy Board WA, this role leads a team of approximately six direct reports to drive profitable sales growth and deliver outstanding service to our valued customers.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape the commercial direction of our WA fibre packaging operations, develop long-term customer partnerships, and champion safety, continuous improvement, and a high-performance sales culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the WA Sales Team, ensuring safety, engagement, and alignment with Visy values.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive profitable sales growth across the state.
  • Maintain and strengthen key customer relationships, ensuring product and service excellence.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value to both Visy and our customers.
  • Deliver accurate reporting, sales forecasts, and commercial performance metrics.
  • Drive accountability for customer engagement, contract renewals, aged inventory, and non-conformance resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across sales processes and customer service.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Design, Logistics, and National Sales teams.
  • Foster talent development, succession planning, and wellbeing within the team.
