Job Description The Asset Stewardship team is responsible for developing and implementing the firm's proxy voting and engagement guidelines, managing issuer engagement, and undertaking research and analysis of corporate governance and sustainability topics. Our approach to stewardship is centered on thought leadership, issuer engagement, proxy voting and client reporting. Responsibilities Support global proxy voting and engagement efforts Conduct research on proxy voting policies and in preparation for company engagements Analyze sustainability disclosures for portfolio companies Support the development of thought leadership on corporate governance sustainability topics Monitor evolving market trends Requirements: Experience working on and/or studying sustainability topics or corporate governance/stewardship Excellent writing, research and communication skills Enthusiastic about the work, detail-oriented and reliable, able to work independently and take initiative, and able to work collaboratively with a diverse and global team Education: Currently pursuing bachelor's degree About State Street What we do.
