IDEAL EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

  • 4+ years’ experience in merchandising, styling, window dressing, creative installations.
  • Experience in directing and working with Store/Site Managers.
  • Demonstrated experience within a similar function, within retail apparel and department stores.
  • General computer skills with strong competencies in excel, power point and outlook.
  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Strong ability to implement direction and follow guidelines.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull or move objects of at least 20 kgs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business.
  • Creative, commercially aware and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
  • Strong team leader with an ability to manage, motivate, inspire and work effectively within a large team.
  • Very strong project and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to travel locally regularly and interstate as required.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Execute and maintain the Calvin Klein visual merchandising (VM) standards across all channels in the state —wholesale, full price retail, and outlet.
You will drive sales and stock turn by identifying and acting on VM opportunities and ensuring consistent execution in collaboration with the Retail Operations and Department Store Operations teams.
Reporting to the Calvin Klein Visual Merchandising Manager, this is a full-time position working supporting all locations across NSW.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor sales performance across all branded touch points, utilising weekly sales data, especially during store visits, to make commercial VM decisions, and drive sales.
  • Elevate and maintain store presentation standards through regular development and training of the store teams, ensuring VMD comprehension and compliance.
  • Empower store teams to independently execute HO VM direction, promotional setups and change mannequins through VM training and inductions for each team member.
  • Contribute to weekly retail feedback and photo reports sharing insights and opportunities in relation to VM, capacity, assortment, competitor activity, and staff VM training, offering actionable solutions.
  • Provide regular guidance and support to the Field VM and operations team members to continuously develop and improve their VM and commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to HO VM team, including regular photos, in relation to store performance, real estate, layouts and floorplans, product positioning, VM standards and new opportunities within nominated stores.
  • Achieve visual project schedules to ensure they meet campaign and promotional timelines.
